The PikeView Panthers soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Bluefield Beavers to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Panthers face the Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 23. PikeView will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).

The Beavers now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Shady Spring for a Coalfield AA contest on Tuesday, September 26. Bluefield will face a Tigers team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
