In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Southern Rams.
The Miners (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Northern was nudged by Southern (Oakland, MD), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rams (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels come into the Appalachian battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Fort Hill was nudged by Allegany (Cumberland, MD), 7-1, in a league battle.
