Next, the Mules confront the Fredericktown Black Cats (Fredericktown, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 25. Poplar Bluff will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Black Cats enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Lutheran South (St. Louis, MO).

The Bulldogs now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a Southeast Missouri challenge on Monday, September 25. Sikeston will confront a Fighting Indians team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Perryville (Perryville, MO). The Fighting Indians record now stands at 6-1.
