Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knob Noster for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26.

With the loss, Lafayette County falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Huskers travel to Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Warrensburg lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO)
