The Marshall Owls softball team (Marshall, MO), was tipped 1-0 in Thursday's non-league match with the host Fulton Hornets (Fulton, MO)
The Hornets now sport a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Callaway for a non-league match on Monday, September 25. Fulton will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, MO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Marshall moves to 2-12 on the season. The Owls host Kirksville (Kirksville, MO) to meet the Tigers in a Class 3 District 13 match on Saturday, September 23. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 10-6. Kirksville lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Moberly (Moberly, MO)
