The Temple Tigers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Temple improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Tigers host Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A D-I Region 4 game on Tuesday, September 26. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-9. Crawford County lost 11-2 in their recent non-league game against Woodland (Cartersville, GA)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 25. Mt. Zion will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 12-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).
