The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Northside Eagles to 0 in the Yellow Jackets league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Thomas County Central moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Tift County (Tifton, GA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 6A Region 1 game on Tuesday, September 26. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 10-9. The Bears go into the battle with a 17-3 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Duluth (Duluth, GA).
