Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bryan County for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Richmond Hill will face a Redskins squad coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Valdosta falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to face the Wildcats in a 7A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 26. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-7.
