The Abbeville Panthers topped the visiting Mid-Carolina Rebels volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newberry for a AA Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 26. Abbeville will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-7.
The Rebels (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Tigers enter the AA Region 2 test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Saluda was knocked off by Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC), 3-0, in a league test.
