The Alton Redbirds volleyball team (Alton, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL)

The Panthers (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL). The Tigers enter the Southwestern challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Edwardsville defeated Belleville West (Belleville, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Redbirds meet the McCluer North Stars (Florissant, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 22. Alton will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record.
