The Parry McCluer Fighting Blues volleyball team (Buena Vista, VA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA)

The Chargers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo Gap was edged by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Blues encounter the Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Parry McCluer will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record.
