The Bulldogs now have a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phillips for a 1A Area 14 game on Thursday, September 28. Belgreen will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Bears record now stands at 1-10.

The Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Tharptown (Russellville, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 5-23 record. In their last game, Tharptown dropped by Sulligent (Sulligent, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
