Illinois High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon edged by Cahokia

The Cahokia Comanches held off the host Mt. Vernon Rams volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Comanches now have a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Cahokia will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cairo (Cairo, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 0-9.

The Rams (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Terriers enter the South Seven test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Carbondale held off Marion (Marion, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
