The Gig Harbor Tides topped the host Central Kitsap Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Tides now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Timberline for a 3A South Sound test on Tuesday, September 26. Gig Harbor will confront a Blazers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Capital (Olympia, WA). The Blazers record now stands at 5-4.
The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their test against River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Hawks enter the 3A South Sound test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, River Ridge was knocked off by North Thurston (Lacey, WA), 3-0, in a league test.
