The Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades volleyball team (Chambers, NE), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Central Knights (Bassett, NE)

The Knights (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller defeated Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Renegades encounter the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Chambers/Wheeler Central will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE).
