The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA) and the visiting Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA), saw Maplewood's volleyball squad nip Cochranton by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Maplewood upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Tigers host Warren (Warren, PA) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 27. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Warren won 3-0 in their recent league bout against General McLane (Edinboro, PA)

The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cambridge Springs for a District 10 Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 26. Cochranton will play a Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Devils record now stands at 0-1.
