In Thursday's league battle, the host Garrard County Golden Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Danville Christian Academy Warriors.
The Golden Lions (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Wayne County achieved victory over Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Danville Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY).
