The South Point Pointers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Dawson-Bryant Hornets to 1 in the Pointers league victory on Thursday.

The Pointers now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. South Point will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-2 league win over Waterford (Waterford, OH). The Tornadoes record now stands at 10-1.

The Hornets (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Trojans enter the Ohio Valley game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Portsmouth was dropped by Fairland (Proctorville, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
