The Destrehan Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting East Jefferson Warriors to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Martin's Episcopal for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 26. Destrehan will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Saints record now stands at 3-9.
The Warriors (5-12) will now prepare for their game against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, St. James notched a victory over International (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
