In Thursday's league battle, the host Franklin County Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Port Gibson Blue Waves.

The Bulldogs (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS). The Indians come into the Class 3 Region 7 battle with a 2-9 record.

Next, the Blue Waves clash with the Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Port Gibson will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Chiefs come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS).
