The Glendale Nitros prevailed the host Hoover Tornados volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Nitros now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Angeles for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Glendale will confront a Romans team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Adams (Los Angeles, CA). The Romans record now stands at 5-5.

The Tornados (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Marshall (Los Angeles, CA). The Barristers enter the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Marshall gained a win over Bravo (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
