In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Grace Lutheran Royals volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Rockland Bulldogs.

The Royals (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mackay (Mackay, ID). The Miners come into the 1A Rocky Mountain battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Mackay nudged Sho-Ban (Fort Hall, ID), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Clark County Bobcats (Dubois, ID) in a 1A Rocky Mountain battle, on Saturday, September 23. Rockland will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Gem (Bancroft, ID).
