The Greenback Cherokees volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Jellico Blue Devils to 0 in the Cherokees league victory on Thursday.
The Cherokees now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a A District 2 game on Thursday, September 28.
The Blue Devils (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats enter the non-league game with a 19-5 record. In their last game, Bell County defeated Clay County (Manchester, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
