The Harrisburg Hornets volleyball team (Harrisburg, AR), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR)
The Greyhounds (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Manila (Manila, AR). The Lions come into the 3A Northeast challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Manila was edged by Valley View (Jonesboro, AR), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets encounter the Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Harrisburg will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO).
