In Thursday's league battle, the host Hood River Valley Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hillsboro Spartans.
The Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Canby (Canby, OR). The Cougars come into the 5A Northwest Oregon battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Canby achieved victory over Parkrose (Portland, OR), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon battle, on Monday, September 25. Hillsboro will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 2-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Canby (Canby, OR).
