Illinois High School Volleyball - Hinckley-Big Rock edged by Serena

The Serena Huskers held off the visiting Hinckley-Big Rock Royals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Huskers now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland for a Little Ten test on Tuesday, September 26.

The Royals (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Elgin Academy was nudged by St. Edward (Elgin, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
