North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northwood nudged by Jordan-Matthews

September 21, 2023: Pittsboro, NC 27312

The Northwood Chargers volleyball team (Pittsboro, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC)

The Jets (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Trinity nipped Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers encounter the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Northwood will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC).
