The Lake City Panthers topped the host Lakewood Gators volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden for a AAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, September 26. Lake City will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-3.

The Gators (0-10) will now prepare for their test against East Clarendon (Turbeville, SC). The Wolverines enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, East Clarendon gained a win over Hemingway (Hemingway, SC), 3-0, in a league test.
