The Long Beach Bearcats topped the visiting Picayune Maroon Tide volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Bearcats now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gulfport for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26.
The Maroon Tide (2-20) will now prepare for their test against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 15-12 record. In their last test, New Hope gained a win over Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
