Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Nativity BVM tips Marian Catholic

September 21, 2023: Tamaqua, PA 18252

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) and the host Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA), saw Nativity BVM's volleyball squad nip Marian Catholic by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Nativity BVM upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Mahanoy Area (Mahanoy City, PA) to play the Golden Bears in a Schuylkill County 1 bout on Monday, September 25. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Mahanoy Area won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA)

The now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Lehigh for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Marian Catholic will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 15-1.
