In Thursday's league battle, the host Marshall Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Yellville-Summit Panthers.

The Bobcats (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars come into the 2A North battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Izard County lost by Quitman (Quitman, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR) in a 2A North contest, on Monday, September 25. Yellville-Summit will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Alpena (Alpena, AR).
