In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Quemado Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mountainair Mustangs.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against To'hajiilee (To'hajiilee, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, To'hajiilee went down by Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 23. Mountainair will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM).
