The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS) and the host Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS), saw North Panola's volleyball squad beat Palmer by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, North Panola upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Cougars host West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS) to play the Choctaws in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Choctaws go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

The Dragons now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Coahoma County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Palmer will play a Red Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS). The Red Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
