With the win, Pineville upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Mountain Lions host Model (Richmond, KY) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-8.

The Cardinals now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to June Buchanan for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Red Bird will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-12.
