The Ripley Tigers topped the visiting Shannon Red Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amory for a Class 4 Region 1 test on Tuesday, September 26. Ripley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 11-11.
The Red Raiders (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves enter the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Tishomingo County gained a win over Booneville (Booneville, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
