Colorado High School Volleyball - Wiggins tips Sedgwick County

September 21, 2023: Wiggins, CO 80654

Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) in a 2A/1A Lower Platte match, on Thursday, September 28. Wiggins will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Rams come into the match with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO).

With the loss, Sedgwick County drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Perkins County (Grant, NE) to battle the Plainsmen in a non-league match on Thursday, September 28. The Plainsmen come into the match with a record of 10-7.
