California High School Volleyball - Washington Union over Selma

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Selma Bears (Selma, CA), saw Washington Union's volleyball squad beat Selma by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Washington Union upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Exeter (Exeter, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Exeter won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA)

The Bears now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Kerman for a Tri-County- Sequoia bout on Tuesday, September 26. Selma will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Lions record now stands at 8-11.
