The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT) and the visiting Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT), saw Wolcott's volleyball squad beat Torrington by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Wolcott upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Oxford (Oxford, CT) to play the Wolverines in a Naugatuck Valley bout on Friday, September 22. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Oxford won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Wilby (Waterbury, CT)

The Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Woodland Regional for a Naugatuck Valley bout on Friday, September 22. Torrington will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.
