In Saturday's league game, the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) football team triumphed over the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), by a tally of 40-6.
In their next game, the Mohawks battle the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN) in a 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) game, on Saturday, September 28. Waldron will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Deaf Hoosiers enter the game with a 0-5 record after their 41-8 league loss to Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN).
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Tri-State Crusaders (Harlan, IN). The King's Crusaders enter the 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Tri-State Crusaders overwhelmed Grand Valley Christian Patriots (Byron Center, MI), 34-24, in a non-league game.
