The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) and the visiting Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), observed Gunnison's softball team get by Sierra by a tally of 1-0.

The Cowboys (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Mean Moose go into the non-league bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Alamosa was nipped by Lamar (Lamar, CO), 10-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Stallions clash with the Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO) in a 4A/3A CSML North bout, on Tuesday, September 24. Sierra will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO).
