With the win, Akron-Westfield improves its record to 9-5 on the season. The Westerners travel to George-Little Rock (George, IA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 6-6. George-Little Rock won 2-0 in their recent league test against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA)

The Tigers now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Sioux for a test on Saturday, September 21. Trinity Christian will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-10.
