Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) and the visiting Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), observed Horseshoe Bend's volleyball team top Central of Clay County by a count of 2-0.

The Generals (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wadley (Wadley, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Wadley was knocked off by Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Volunteers battle the Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Central of Clay County will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Generals enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wadley (Wadley, AL).
