Alabama High School Volleyball - Daphne over Orange Beach

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Daphne Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Orange Beach Makos.

The Trojans (23-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Davidson (Mobile, AL). The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Davidson was beaten by T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL), 25-18, in a non-league battle.

The Makos now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Satsuma for a 4A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, September 24. Orange Beach will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mary G. Montgomery (Semmes, AL). The Gators record now stands at 8-8.
