In Saturday's non-league match, the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Huskies battle the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a A Region 4 match, on Tuesday, September 24. Elk Point-Jefferson will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN).
The Wildcats (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans enter the B Region 1 match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Leola/Frederick was tipped by Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 3-0, in a non-league match.
