In Saturday's league challenge, the host Hopkins County Central Storm volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons.

The Storm (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, John Hardin was nudged by Larue County (Hodgenville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maroons play the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Madisonville-North Hopkins will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
