In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mason City Mohawks.

The Cadets (5-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Janesville (Janesville, IA). The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Janesville beat Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mohawks meet the Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Mason City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA).
