In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Louis Sharks volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Northern Michigan Christian Comets.

The Sharks (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Saxons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Hastings was nudged by Western (Parma, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Northern Michigan Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Evart (Evart, MI).
