The Smith Center Redmen topped the host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Redmen face the Phillipsburg Panthers (Phillipsburg, KS) in a Mid-Continent game, on Tuesday, September 24. Smith Center will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 5-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Alma (Alma, NE).

The Cyclones (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Republic County (Belleville, KS). The Buffaloes go into the non-league game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Republic County went down by Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.
