Illinois High School Volleyball - Woodlands Academy can't get by Yorkville Christian

Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Woodlands Academy Wildcats (Lake Forest, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Yorkville Christian improves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Mustangs host Marengo (Marengo, IL) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Indians go into the test with a record of 5-10.

The Wildcats now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cristo Rey St. Martin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26.
