North Carolina High School Volleyball - Jack Britt can't hold off Union Pines

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Jack Britt Buccaneers.

The Vikings (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the Sandhills 3A/4A battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Lee County nudged Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Buccaneers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles enter the United Eight 3A/4A test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Douglas Byrd was nudged by Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
